James "Jim" Lord
Jim Lord serves as a Board Member to the organization. Jim was commissioned as a Reserve Aviation Officer through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Kemper Military Junior College in Booneville, Missouri in 1986. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
He serves as the State Army Aviation Officer for the Florida Army National Guard. His previous assignments include aviation support facility commander, aviation brigade executive officer, mobilization readiness officer, aviation operations and training, logistics, battalion and company commands. Prior to becoming a full-time employee of the Army National Guard in 2001, he was employed as an underwriter and business analyst with Bank of America. He is an active member of the Flying Gator Chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA). He has lived in Jacksonville, FL since 1993.
